Highly recommend for logging some flight time in on the computer !Worked perfect out of the box with my FlySky I6 2.4G 6CH remote. Just plugged it into my Macbook (OSx El Capitan) installed FPV Freerider, did a few calibrations and I was up in the air. Being able to log some pretty realistic flight time when the conditions aren't good outside has definitely elevated my flying skills. 5Good value for the price. 3rd party drivers are not required for Windows 8.1The device setup in Windows 8.1 was easy. Drivers were not needed, it shows up as game controller when plugged in the USB. I was able to calibrate it easily in Windows, but this may not be necessary depending on the simulator you are using as both Liftoff and DRL both had in-game calibration and setup that worked very easily. I passed on the included software. DRL simulator is excellent for a free sim and Liftoff at $20 is also very good.I bought this to gain proficiency with my quad flying and I have to say that muscle memory develops quite quickly using a real RC transmitter compared to a game pad. I am using this with a FlySky FS-i6X and no special settings were needed in the Tx. Just turn it on and go. In Liftoff, I needed to configure the controller a few times as some of the axes kept getting assigned in reverse. After I payed attention to the quad preview, it was fairly straightforward to invert the axes that needed it.Overall, after a few hours of simulator flying, I would recommend this as a good, inexpensive solution for simulator practice. 4Brilliant!My equipment:Windows 10Flysky FS-i6/Eachine i6DRL SimulatorI was surprised at how easy this was to set up. My only issue was the description of the product gives you an invalid URL to download the drivers. The Q&A section resolved it quickly. Search the questions for driver or silabsSome people have mentioned that you have to put the FS-i6 controller in trainer mode or student mode every time. I did not. I just installed the drivers, plug in the cable, launched the DRL sim and added a new controller.It works SO much better than the PS/2 style controller that I had been using (or trying to use, to be honest).Money well spent. Highly recommended. 5Works excellent.If you use betaflight you already have the CPX210 driver.. just plug in to your windows 10 machine and it works excellent. No setup issues and it connected right up.I tested it on my Graupner Hott MC32 and my Graupner Hott MZ24 Pro and it worked perfectly on both.. just plug in the 2.5mm jack in to the DSC (Direct Servo Control jack) port and set trainer to slave and PPM 16 millisecond frame rate and your ready to go.. it also works fine at 24MS frame rate, at 10ms frsme rate it was causing issues, I guess it can't keep up with a 10ms frame rate.Anyhow it works great for every sim I tried it on. 5Works with my FSi6 This cable works as designed with my FSi6 TAX with FPV Freerider. I did struggle to get the plug to line up and connect to the TAX properly. But once installed it worked without issue.To get the cable to work I simple plugged it I to a USB port on my Windows 7 laptop. I let Windows install drivers. Connected to the TX, turned the TX on, then opened FPV Freerider and calibrated the TX. It would be nice to have the cable power the TX, but this works and now I can use a real TAX instead of my RealFlight Interlink Elite controller.I also have the cable and TX working with HELI-X6.1 heli simulator. Once the simulator is running calibrate the TX via the simulator and save the configuration. 5Will not work on a USB 3.x port. Use a old crappy HUB. If product description said this it would have saved me a lot of time.It's crap but it works. It's best of the other crap out there that barely works.The primary key to getting this to work is to connect it to a USB 2 or older port. The one's that aren't blue. Even then, it still didn't work for me. I had to go dig out a crappy old USB hub from my old crap drawer and lo and behold, it worked.Win10 64bit. Flysky FS-i6. I removed all other crap relating to this topic that anyone mentioned. No special driver, just the one that comes with Windows.I'm using it in Lift Off. I don't have it in student mode. The only advice I followed that worked from anyone here is to use a crap usb hub that isn't 3.0... then everything was all good.I was about to give up and roast the hell outta this seller. Product description needs to say it doesn't work on USB 3.0 ports and might require a old usb hub. Hell, even suggest one on Amazon. In this day and age it's not like most people will have a ton laying around like I do. 3Works with the Flysky/Eachine i6 on Win10Works well with the Flysky/Eachine i6 on windows 10. The included software is junk, i'd recommend FPV Freerider (they have a free demo and a paid version for $5). If you're using the i6 transmitter make sure that it is set to student mode in the options menu. To access the options menu hold the two trim buttons above the "up" and "ok" keys towards the center while powering on. Then to access the menu hold down the "ok" key. 4DOES NOT WORK on WINDOWS 10 x64There are two issues:1. This Dongle does not work with FMS. The provided FMS link did not work at all in windows 10 Pro x64 version. I've copied D3DRM.dll into c:\windows\system32 but still cannot run the program. Every time it said cannot load d3drm.dll.Very frustrating. It's not what the seller said.2. Since FMS is not working. I go with Realflight 8. It's not working either. When connecting the laptop USB and FS-T6 (the transmitter), the dongle was keep flashing. Cannot recognize the transmitter at all. Inside calibration settings, Channel 3 was kept interfering with other ones. Even tried Spectrum transmitter, didn't work. 1got flysky fs-i6 to work well on windows 10 pro and usb 3.0product worked awesome. i like many others bought the damn fs-i6 cause it was cheap and well reviewed. i was immediately met with failure to connect and joysticks cant calibrate. wasted time messing with drivers. heres how i got it to work. you dont need smartproplus. that program sucks on new computers so unless u got windows 95 i wouldnt use it.directions:install betaflight newest (i think its got some necessary drivers (may not be needed))put fs-i6 in student mode (menu option on transmitter)plug it in with simulator cablesearch "set up usb game controllers" in start menu and click ityou should see "PPM" as a deviceclick it and calibrateIn lift off u gotta calibrate againboom doneworks with usb 3.0 on windows 10 and its steaaady im telling you. i tried smartpropoplus and the best i could do was the most glitchy crazy unsteady movement and then it ended up not working. after setting it up the above way ive been using liftoff and its amazing. finally works. i was about to give up. have hope fellow noob hobbiests! 5I have yet to try the link offered by RC ...I have yet to try the link offered by RC Mall but links for software shown on the packaging only go to a phishing site, while link to 'Flysky-cn.com' is blocked by Nortons as being "dangerous", both being a concern and extremely amateurish, especially considering the amount of Flysky products 'out there'.More could be done to alert buyers to the above.As a distributor, I believe RC Mall should be taking this up with their supplier/Flysky 2
